Who is Kristina Hart Hawley?
Kristina is the founder of Hart Habitats. She trained in Interior Design in Italy and worked with leading design firms in San Francisco and Oxford before starting her own studio and shop in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Read more on the About page.

Is Hart Habitats connected to Hildegunn Hawley Antiques?
Yes. Kristina's mother, Hildegunn Hawley, ran an antiques shop at this same Carmel-by-the-Sea location on San Carlos Street since 1985, specializing in 18th- and 19th-century European and Asian antiques. Kristina continues that legacy today with Hart Habitats, blending those antiques with modern and vintage furniture, home decor, and interior design services.
